Australian filmmaker Carola Mair to arrive in Kathmandu for ‘Hellwach’ screening

Australian filmmaker Carola Mair is set to visit Nepal for the screening of her acclaimed documentary ‘Hellwach’ and the inauguration of the three-day Calliope Exhibition.
Mair is scheduled to appear this Friday at Oscar International College, where the documentary ‘Hellwach’ will be screened for students and guests.
Hellwach offers a poetic portrait of Australian writer, mountaineer and shepherd Bodo Hell, who has been missing since August 11, 2024.
Following the screening of the documentary, she will engage in an interactive session, according to Nawanidhi Dahal, a faculty member at the college.
Mair will then inaugurate the Calliope Exhibition which will run for three days from December 12 to 14, Dhahal added.
Mair is among 12 influential women selected by the Australian government for their contributions in their respective fields.
The Calliope Exhibition, which features Mair as one of the 12 powerful women in Australia, is being organized by Oscar International College in collaboration with the Australian Embassy in New Delhi.
